RRF fosters cooperation between Member States and countries of origin by implementing activities that support national coordination platforms and link them up with relevant return and reintegration stakeholders in Member States.
In addition, capacity building and training sessions are delivered to strengthen national institutions’ capacities and structures to efficiently manage the return and reintegration of their citizens.

RRF Reintegration Briefings
In March 2025, the RRF launched a new type of event, aimed at exploring opportunities for cooperation and identifying potential activities with RR partners in countries of origin.
The RRF Reintegration Briefing brings together relevant authorities, stakeholders, and local and international partners in a select country of origin. The briefing features a combination of presentations, discussions and brainstorming sessions designed to foster dialogue and exchange, and to identify synergies, challenges, and opportunities for enhanced coordination.
The briefings provide an overview of EU migration and return policies, present RRF’s objectives and activities with concrete examples from the current implementation phase and include insights from national and local partners on the reintegration context in the selected country of origin.
These exchanges strengthen mutual understanding, support the development of good practices, and lay the groundwork for stronger cooperation between national efforts and EU funded initiatives.
